The Red Sign Project

A collaborative photographic documentary open to photographers from around the world.

The Red Sign Project is an online photographic documentary that investigates real life in the urban clusters that immediately surround landmark Coca-Cola billboards. Regarding the Ponte tower, we will accept submissions documenting life in the immediate surrounds even though the coke sign is no longer.

This is a call to photographers from anywhere in the world to submit work for inclusion in the online gallery.

There is only one rule. The photos you submit must have been taken in the same neighbourhood, or immediate bordering neighbourhood where landmark Coke billboards are found (in JHB’s case, were found at one time). Apart from that simple guideline, what you photograph is up to you. There are no other limitations...and participation is free.
