What is the CODP Network?

The CODP Network has been created to become a portal for all things photographic. This will be in the form of a collection of sub-sites linked to the main www.codp.co.za site. The first phase of the CODP Network is the addition of our lecturer blog sites. Here you can view lecturers´ portfolios and photo galleries, and see what each of us is up to on our blogs. You can comment on the various posts / pics, delve a little deeper into our personalities and discover our take on things! Go have a look, click around and comment, and if you have any suggestions to improving these sites please let us know.

The next phase of the CODP Network is to include you, the public, so that each of you can have your very own blog site which becomes part of the CODP Network, where you can share your pics and experiences with family, friends and fellow photographers. The student blog sites will have the same look and feel as the lecturer sites, you´ll have your own domain name and be able to load content / photographs onto your website quickly and easily via a web-based interface called Ice Cream. One of the biggest benefits of being part of the CODP Network is that all the content is syndicated. This means that if anyone does a search for a specific topic, camera brand, or photography keyword on any of the sites linked to the network, all related content across the entire network relevant to the search will appear.

If you´re interested in having your own CODP Network website which is update-able from the comfort of your home (or any spot with an internet connection) please contact Udo Kieslich to be informed about future developments.

To access the Lecturer Blog sites go to the Lecturer Blogs page. By clicking on any lecturer´s name you´ll be redirected to their blog site. Or you can access the blogs at the bottom of the CODP home page.
