Before 2006 I was a management trainer, lecturer and facilitator. In 2004, I was gifted a photography course, excelled and was invited back to teach the introductory course which led to taking up photography as a career. I love my photography, but I am especially passionate about teaching it. Working with people that are enthusiastic and interested is truly special.Book Virtual Session
My professional assignments are many and varied. From brochures for Women’s month, the Johannesburg Art Gallery’s catalogues and centenary publications, photographing international conferences, factories, architecture, personal branding portraiture, and even some water quality works (sewage farms). This variety is the favourite part of my work
- I also have a strong interest in in conceptual art photography and I have exhibited at GordArt, ArtSpace and at Aardklop.
- I have completed a few of the 48hr Film and 48hr Music Video competitions and was runner-up in cinematography in 2012,
- To give something back, I regularly photograph at the Johannesburg Children’s Home including their 120 year commemoration. I am also working with Elliot Moleba, a young up-and-coming playwright to photograph and video his works for publicity.
