AERIAL ACT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP – R1680.00
SCROLL DOWN FOR COURSE DATES & TO BOOK
An Aerial Circus Act is considered to be the art form that most symbolises discipline, grace and strength. For centuries, audiences both young and old have been captivated by the combination of these elements. As photographers, we all want to capture this exciting art form in all its beauty. However, traditional circus shows are no longer around, and gaining access to a private performance or the individual aerial performers is not easy. We are delighted to have arranged exclusive photographic access to a group of performers at The CIRK.
The workshop lends itself to portrait and action photography, using professional lighting set-ups. Participants will be able to photograph the acts against varied backgrounds, using studio lighting to freeze motion (among other techniques), as well as natural light flowing into a large industrial space.
PLEASE NOTE! Participants to the workshop and showcase are required to submit their best images to us for distribution to the performers.
This workshop is designed to allow each participant to obtain unique, high quality images. To achieve this, the number of participants must be strictly limited.
We look forward to you joining us for this rare opportunity to capture some incredible images of this unique performance art. A CODP lecturer will be on hand to assist you with any queries you might have.
