On this advanced Night Sky Photography course you will learn the ins-and-outs of photographing the heavens. This course will help you plan, prepare and photograph amazing star trails as well as the Milky Way.
From camera settings and techniques, to gear and accessories, this course ensures you’ll always be ready for that once-in-a-lifetime moment! Modern DSLR cameras have opened up a new world for photographers and have become the ideal tools to capture the mesmerising beauty of the night skies.
This part time photography course is presented on one evening or morning a week over three consecutive weeks. A fun, evening practical workshop in the outdoors with your lecturer, will help you master the techniques taught as well as gain valuable practical experience.
PLEASE NOTE – this is an advanced course and you need to complete both the Fundamentals of Photography + Basic Photoshop – The Essentials course beforehand. You Require your own laptop with Photoshop CC for the editing part of the course, as well as an intervalometer or a cable release.
PLEASE NOTE – the practical workshop is weather dependent as relatively clear skies are required. If it’s overcast or rainy on the day of the workshop, we’ll keep shifting the outing & lesson 3 until a clear day comes along!
